Young’s hotel performance continues to improve

Young's & Co Brewery said in an AGM statement that it has made a good start to the financial year after sales at its managed house division rose by 2.4% on a like-for-like basis. It added that the recent improved performance of its hotels had also continued.

The pub and hotel chain said its premium position and well-invested estate allowed it to make progress last year despite market conditions. It remains confident about its prospects for this financial year.
